Based on the premise that the best job training is an engaging job, Bodanna is a nonprofit venture that uses handcrafted ceramics as a medium for developing job disciplines and artistic potential in gifted young adults from low-income communities. In its studio, apprentices work on all aspects of the ceramics business: from product development, production, and studio management to marketing and retail store operations.

Bodanna's new home will occupy two levels including a gallery/retail shop, offices, production facilities and open classrooms. A wheel-throwing area, which will be visible from the retail space, will emphasize the handcrafted and unique nature of each piece and will showcase the inner workings of the ceramics & pottery studio.
